I owe you folks a debt of gratitude, I last brewed in the middle 90's. While surfing this site and reading many, many posts I have managed to brew a beer and and put together a keg system!
Thank You
Jim

I did the same thing Jim, except I started with a Mr. Beer kit, made some "beer" that was drinkable but nothing I wanted to share with somebody and call my own. A few years later, and a few years of working my first job post college, I realized I wanted to revisit this hobby and make it a lot more professional. So glass bottles with caps instead of plastic with twist off caps. And now, 10 extract batches under my belt, I feel like I am actually proud to share my brews with others. Although, you might want to think twice before sharing a IIPA with your buddy that regular drinks Miller Lite. They'll be in for quite a surprise!
