I'm starting from square one, but I have made some good friends that brew excellent beer from a home brew club I joined. All of the previous home brew I've drank sucked arse and I didn't think it was possible to brew great beer at home. That was until a few months ago when I attended a friend's Labor day picnic and his neighbor supplied the brew... man was it fantastic! So now I'm hooked.
I'm using steeped grains with extract right now and am helping 'the neighbor' assist in his all grain batches.
Batches made:
#1 Robust Porter (partial extract)
#2 Oatmeal Stout (partial extract)
#3 Sierra Nevada Celebration Ale AG
#4 Citra IPA
All of the beer has turned out very well, but I still have the training wheels on. Cheers!
