So I've been lagering my first oktoberfest beer and I've noticed clusters of white bubbles forming on the top of my beer. Is this something I should be concerned about. Again they seem to be just white bubbles. There are no hairs or should I say it doesnt look like a mold. I've never lagered a beer so I'm super stoked on this batch until I saw these bubbles and they kinda scared me.

As yeast metabolizes sugar, CO2 and alcohol are produced. Those bubbles are CO2. I'd be more worried if you didn't see any bubbles.

Cool. Ya I had already had the beer fermenting at about 45 and then racked it off the trub into secondary to begin my lager at 35. Then about a week later I started getting these white patches of bubbles. Looks like the batch is doing well then. Thanks
