Howdy,
Just sampled my first effort: Brewer's Best English Brown Ale. Used the dry yeast. 3 weeks in the primary and 2+ weeks in the bottle. I bottled it into Grolsch swingtops. Satisfying "pop" when I opened it complete with the fog that always appears in the neck of the bottle. Nice, thick head. Tastes pretty good. I can tell it will improve with time. There's a bit of a raw alcohol taste and another taste that's a bit...oniony?
Anyway, got kudos from me esposa. Love the forum. Wouldn't have had anywhere near even this much patience without reading 1000 "give it time" threads.
