So I brewed this Imperial stout and it didn't really ferment well. only got down to 1.030 after repiching (should have used champagne yeast) So i was just tired of dealing with it so i went ahead and just bottled it. It tasted fine just alittle sweet. So can i expect the sweet taste dissipate with time say like 6 months. Is there anything else i can do to get it lower gravity?

I may very well ferment out if it wasn't done. The only problem with that is, if it does start going again, you can expect overcarbed beer and/or bottle bombs.

Bummer... yeah the OG was 1.086 a NB kit. well if they don't blow up on me I guess mixing will be the best bet.. thanks!
