Electrical plug orientation for GE Model#: FCM7SUWW

Hey guys, I'm building a temp controller box for a chest freezer than I purchased a few days ago. It's still in shipment, so I can't tell which way I need to wire this controller up.

Does the plugs on these models come like a standard cord, or are they flat faced that lays up against the wall?

Trying to figure out which way to mount this outlet so that the plug does not interfere with the power in cord (yet to be drilled)
