My bullmastiff Gibson. He's kind of a jerk but I love him anyways

Here's Brolly. Just picked him up from the breeder yesterday. He's a Doberman Pinscher and he'll be 11 weeks old on Tuesday. I'm sure you homebrewers can figure out the significance of his name. :D

Picked up a new Bully Saturday. Meet Zelda.

My phone camera sucks....

And the old queen from before and my brew partner Daisey. Sadly she went to #2 on the dogie hierarchy in the house. Black and Tan Coon Hound

So we are officially adopting this little guy, we're gonna name him Fry. As in Phillip J.

He's about 11 weeks old now, runt of his litter and had a serious injury while super young that led to having one of his front legs amputated :(

He's a little devil though, and surprisingly fast!!!!

Get some piercings they said. Bitches love piercings!

This is Baby. Rather than a fashion statement, this is the result of getting in Fay's face. Twice. Ain't saying he's smart, but Kellie got him 14 years ago at 9 weeks old, so Fay had to go back to the greyhound group.

We were worried about her other toy poodle, Robin. Turns out, even though he's a blonde, he had the sense to growl from a distance.

Might be getting a female golden retriever puppy soon. Name suggestions? Only one I like so far is Stella but I don't think it fits the breed well.

This is my manly pomeranian, Tucker. He usually has more hair but this is a few weeks after a hair cut. He is the best Brewer's Assistant you will ever see. In the first picture, you can see how much he actually gets involved and helps me. (Sorry about the Penis shot)
the second picture is without the Penis shot.

Jake on the left, a Hurricane Katrina rescue mutt-dog.
Casey on the right, a stray Kelpie I got when I lived in Phoenix.

I think they're cute. In their own way. :)

They look a lot more puppy-ish to me now. Partially because of the short hair in and of itself... but also, the fact that their legs are shaved makes their paws look bigger, which is a very puppy trait. I think its funny how much lighter otter (the one on the right) is when he's shaved.

My wife was worried she wasn't going to like it, but she thinks they're adorable. Certainly they are going to appreciate being a little cooler this summer.

My friends always thought that Jacks (a previous Aussie) "looked like a little boy" when he was shaved, which I agree too. My groomer always sent him back with a bandana around his neck.

How much did you pay for the shave job - or did you do it yourself? I got quoted $56 per dog.

60 each, which included bath and whatnot. I have shaved otter on a couple occasions, took over an hour, didn't look very good. Worth the money if you ask me.

Yeah definitely. I've shaved Jacks once before and it looked pretty crappy. Not sure I see the value in bathing a dog you're about to shave :)

I don't know about your Aussies, but I think mine are made of cotton. They soak up any water they run into like a cotton rag. Fortunately they don't like water, they walk around puddles and seldom get wet.

Do not know if the bath was pre or post shave. They smell nice. So there's that. :p

My two have very different coats. Fisher is fluffier, she is a walking cotton ball. Otter has slicker hair, he sheds water more easily. Unlike yours, mine LOVE LOVE LOVE water and take advantage of any opportunity to put themselves in close contact with anything wet.

I think I noticed an instigating black lab in Pic #3. :D

MC

If i recall correctly, that's actually a german short-haired pointer. I used to bring the dogs out a lot to meet up with the lady who ran the border collie rescue I got them from, and so it was normally her dogs or the current rescue dogs, and I do not recall her ever having a lab. However, there was one german short-haired pointer, and I think I see some white on the body that's tailing that head. :D

here are my dogs. the big one is a pit bull american bull dog mix I got from a rescue and the little one is a rat terrier shizu mix (a rat ****, I call it) and a boxer pup. the boxer I got just before I deployed but my wife says he is as big as my pit now.

Gorgeous animals. That bully's eyes go right into your soul. Has that classic lethargic pit-bull look to him too, though I wouldnt want to be the guy who threatens you or your wife when he's around.
