I recently received some hops I ordered from Great Lakes hops. I have bought some from them before and was pleased with their products. Along with the Mt Hood hops I ordered was a plant that had a marker that said "lucky dog". I thought, never heard of that type. Then I spun the plant around and seen a marker with Horizon on it. Duh. Too bad, I think lucky dog was a great name. I got the Horizon for free. Anyone have any experiences with this hop? It's a sister of Nugget which I have some nice plants I had bought from them about 5 years ago.

From what I've read on other threads, "Lucky Dog" translates to "bonus hop plant you didn't pay for." The actual varieties vary.

I would describe Horizon as mainly Floral.
