Disappointed with DFH punkin ale this year

Maybe it's just me, or maybe my taste buds have changed since last year , but I was really let down by this years DFH PUNKIN ale. I remember it being super think and sweet and lots of spices (which I like) but I feel let down. Not as sweet as I remember and not as spicy. Anyone else or am I just loosing it?

I absolutely enjoyed DFH punkin this year. I enjoyed the delicate spice. It's a nice break from all the over-the-top almost artificial pumpkin beers.

The SWMBO and I love it this year. In the year's past not so much but this year it's excellent. Shipyard Smashed Pumpkin OTOH sucks this year. First year that has happened!

So far my favorite pumpkin beer of the year is:

Schlafy Pumpkin Ale.

If you can get it, I would recommend it.
