Design for SS braid false bottom?

I have read some old posts about one large loop vs multiple loops. Some seem to think the more braid the better efficiency. So I was thinking couldn't you just take one long piece of SS braid and make one big continuos loop starting with the outside and finishing with the center much like a lolly pop?

The closer your braid is to covering the entire bottom of your tun, the better. But, partial coverage will get you close enough. An arrangement like a lollipop would be better than a circle around the periphery. I use fine copper wire to keep my loops of braid in position.
