I would have used all pale extract and more 40L... just trying to use up some of this non-pale LME I have kickin around. Lets say 2# 40L if you use all pale extract.

This recipe has been kegged up, carbed, and (kinda) aged. Its an IPA... best young! The beer cleared up real nice, a reddish brown color, has a nice white head, laces the entire glass. Its still carbing up so I expect head retention to improve over the next week or two. The flavor is ohhhh sooo good! Highly fragrant, smooth bitterness, and blends great to a earthy malty finish. Overall killer session brew! I'll be making (A LOT) more of this. It finished a little bit higher than what I would expect from Nottinghams, but that may because I hit a little high on the PM temp. I can see that accounting for 2-3 points in the FG.

Now comes the real test, don't drink it all before my 4th of July party!!! ARRGH!! IMPOSSIBLE!
