Craft Beer MAW(Easy Version)

Someone's porch should get bombed today ... and bring a little variety to the craft beer wasteland. Although I'm a bit perplexed as to how FedEx thinks the most efficient way to get a package from St. Paul to Minot is by way of Billings. St. Paul to Minot is 510 miles (per Google maps) vs. the 1290 miles by going through Billings. They better not bill me by the mile on this one!

Should have left it in billings, I would have kept it company!

The beer scene in ND is improving but it is pretty bad.

Some of the distributors don't know what they are doing or don't care. I once saw some 9 month past the best by date DIPA on the shelf...

We get bits and pieces of good stuff every once in a while (maybe a case worth) about 1.5 hours from me. So my beer runs tend to take up the better part of a day when I'm hunting something and may include several hundred miles.

Yea I know how that is, its about the same up here in Northern Minnesota. If you check distribution for alot of breweries it will list MN, but only to the Twin Cities. I live about 4 hours North of there. Every once in a while one liquor store will get like a case of something. There are a few good regulars around though, like Surly, Bells, GreenFlash, and Lift Bridge.

At the Craft Festival in Philly last weekend. I had that and their Boat Beer. From the looks of it their entire line up is epic. Regular Coffee would of made that festival for me.
Had a neat convo with the owner on Untappd after I posted it...I asked about expansion and bottling, he said eventually, but baby steps. I early anticipate that.

Their Boat Beer is available in 16 oz. cans. It's easily available. From what I heard, their next canning could be their DIPA 077XX. Wit Whale is one of my a time favorites.
