I'm in the process of making a control box for a RIMs system. I recently got some plugs & receptacles that I'm planning on using as a 110V plug.

I only got these because I wanted locking and 20amps/30amps.

I wasn't sure if there was a problem with them?

Sure, 250V rated plugs/receptacles will work fine on 110v .
The only disadvantage of this solution - you can mistakenly connect your 110 V heater to real 240V outlet.
