am a new brewer...

NB extract kit / Bavarian hefeweizen - has been fermenting 5 days of an intended 2 weeks in primary - has been in a front bathroom covered with stable temp.

however, just discovered that my absent-minded teen opened the window yesterday and it's been open all night ~16 hours. outside temp last night was about 36degrees.

fermentation appears to have significantly slowed, though it has not ceased. I've moved the carboy out of the cold room and into a warmer area.

need for concern and any further action ? or not ?

Your beer is fine. After warming up a little, you may want to give it a nice swirl to get the yeast back into suspension. Other than that, try to keep it at about 70 for another week and then bottle.

It'll probably turn out so good you'll drive yourself mad trying to replicate the process....
