My favorite Beatles tune (ask me tomorrow). Here's the take on it by Rufus Wainwright. I just listened to both the original and the Rufus version, and they are both equally good I think. But I like the video of the latter - I think it's a very fine piece of art. Enjoy. BTW, I first heard this on a movie called I am Sam. If you are a Beatles fan, you should watch it just for the music. Or find the soundtrack somewhere.

those guys are some dubious looking ruffians for sure. I like the guy on the left with the giant choker around his neck.

Oh man... now you've brought back memories of smoking a little weed (OK, a lot of weed) and then turning off the lights and turning up the volume on Peter Frampton's "Do You Feel Like We Do". Such a great song, still...

Heh... searched for this, & I'm not turning it off now...

This is an interesting song. Having been indoctrinated by Zeppelin, Uriah Heep, Wishbone Ash, Sabbath and Deep Purple I hated(still do) this song, but my brother and his friends(3 years younger) thought it was the greatest song ever.

For Gregg, a peach of a Brother

From Born to Run. I never really liked Springsteen until I got older and understood what a great poet and son he was to the NE of the USA. This whole album is really wonderful.

I agree he was huge when I was growing up in New York. Here is an old classic from "The River" album called "Fade Away" which is a lost classic.

Here is also a great version of "Prove It All Night" with his mad guitar skills from 1978. Enjoy!

Haha, here's how I re-open this thread :) We (someone else on HBT staff) just fixed a bunch of broken video links that resulted from the conversion to the new forum software, so old embedded videos in this thread and elsewhere work now.

BTW, Donny and Marie are retiring from Vegas strip (I was there a couple of months ago and they were headlining one of the big casinos). Here is Donny and brothers, from 1972.

I remember the 1st time I heard this song on the radio...
It was like Agnetha & Frida were singing just to me. Not the 80,000 other people listening to that radio station, just to me. :)

Here is some classic Fleetwood Mac from 1976. This was taken during a practice before a show. Great talent and Stevie Nicks is at the top of her game here.
