Yes I did a search and this is more of a curiosity question than anything. I kegged a pale ale 2 weeks ago and it took the full two weeks to be properly carbed up. I kegged an IPA last week (6 days ago to be exact) and it is fully carbed already. Both are hooked up to the same regulator set at 12psi in the same fridge at the same temp. Why did one carb faster than the other?
For the record even though the IPA is carbed it's a wee bit green and needs another week. I think I'll dry hop it in the keg and it should be perfect when I get back from Vegas next week.
