Hi There,
I recently brewed a Saison and it's looking pretty good so far!
I originally designed the recipe using the Grainfather software - but I decided I wanted to have a go at brewfather software. So I've exported my recipe from Grainfather and imported it into Brewfather.
The estimates in Brewfather look slightly different for most things (couple of points either side - so all fine)
However - the IBU's are hugely different - 25 v 4!!!
GrainFather: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1exuAgFLacxCV6pYhUak3xD7qOto0G99d/view?usp=sharing
BrewFather: Brewfather
I tasted the wort and it definitely tasted bitter so I'm fairly sure the Grainfather is closer to being correct - any idea what's up with this / how do I use Brewfather without creating a super intense bitter beer in the future (if i was designing this recipe using Brewfather I'd have put 3/4x the hops in)
Thanks,
Ben
