Boiling pot ?

Does boiling pot have to be stainless steal. Is there requirements for pot.

Aluminum is fine. Size is the big requirement. Heavier construction holds the heat better.

We'd been using a smaller aluminum pot, just upgraded to an 80 quart aluminum pot. Ridiculously large? Maybe. Hilariously useful? Definitely.

i have both a stainless steal brew pot as well as an enamal brew pot. if you choose an enamal pot, make sure there aren't any cracks in the enamal.

Get a keg through legal channels, cut a hole in the top. Bam! Instant 15 gallon stainless steel kettle. I love my keggle.
