I'm looking to brew a pale ale that highlights citra in flavoring, aroma, and dryhopping. I know cascade would work but would like to try something different. Centennial would work, but what about Simcoe? Would a simcoe FWB with citra at 15, 0, and dry hopped work?

I would be interested to hear the answer to this too. I have some Citra hops in the mail.

I would go w/ some nugget for bittering as a combo to the citra. Nugget is very clean and compliments the citra by staying out of its way!! Never been disappointed w/ this combo.

I made a columbus / citra, one of the best APAs that I have had.

Columbus for bittering.

Columbus/Citra for flavor.

Citra for aroma.

Really, any of the C hops will be great. Cascade, centennial, chinook, or even Columbus. I really like summit and simcoe mixed in as well.

Warrior, Magnum, Summit.

Any high Alpha, low co-humulone hop makes a fantastic bittering hop.

Cascade for FWH

Centennial for bittering

Flavor/Aroma w/ Citra: I like Cascade, Centennial, Chinook, Summit, Sorachi, and Motueka
