I brewed my 5th batch last night. It's AHS Promotional European Ale. 7 lbs pale LME, around 1 oz of DME I had laying around, crystal 20L grains and WL European Ale yeast. The gravity read 1.060. I made a starter then split that into 2 1000ml flasks then bumped up both of them. I used 5 tsp fermax with 10 minutes left on the boil. I also used 1/2 whirlfloc tab with 15 minutes left on the boil.

After pitching the yeast everything started separating very quickly. 3 hours after pitching I saw a little bubble from the airlock then I went to sleep. When I woke up this morning the airlock was bubbling more than once per second. There was a nice krausen already and it was churning like mad. Way better than any of my other brews. I'm really looking foward to tasting it when it's done!
