I'm brewing a German Pils soon and I'm thinking of using a dry yeast this time. What is the best dry yeast for that style? I'm looking for a strain that produces clean crisp lagers that emphasize hops more than malt.
Ive used lallemond diamond with success on a Marzen though 34/70 may me more appropriate for that style. Well how bout that looks like the Diamond is likely related to 3470 too.I’ve used both 34/70 and Diamond. My preference is Diamond. I perceived the beer to be more malty and crisp but that could be all in my head.
any hints on what that would mean for process, handling, temps, and so forth?if you invest the time to learn 34/70
