On December 2, 2015, Inland Regional Center in San Bernardino was devastated by a terrorist attack where fourteen people died and 22 others were injured. Our community was, and still is, in shock. Unfortunately, we cannot undo what has happened, however, we can take steps to help assist in the absence of those lost and those affected.*

In the wake of this tragedy, Hangar 24 Craft Brewery has put together the #BEERFORSB campaign.*Various breweries, wholesalers, distributors, and retailers within the beer community have joined Hangar 24 in raising funds for those affected by this attack.*It is the goal of every donor to help alleviate the financial burden victims, survivors, and families are experiencing in the aftermath.*

Hangar 24 Craft Brewery will be hosting an event on December 26th, where all proceeds, including cost and profit (minus sales tax) will be donated to the San Bernardino United fund, a fund managed by United Way that benefits those affected by this tragedy. This event will take place at the brewery, where politicians, radio hosts, food vendors, and first responders will be showing their support for the community. Click below for more info.

I have to be honest, this makes me feel a bit uncomfortable. I don't quite know why.

I do wish the best for anyone suffering as a result of this tragedy.

Sorry if it makes you uncomfortable. That was not my intention. Just thought I would share the event for those that might be interested.

regardless of if the fund-raising has a commercial undertone or is opportunistic marketing, it was a horrible tragedy and the right thing to do is support people who are in need.
thanks for posting. I hope this is a time for people to come together as a community and reinforce that we aren't afraid of terrorist acts.

I went to the event and had a few pints and filled my growlers. Seems like they are bringing everyone together for a positive cause.

I am just a local homebrewer sharing the event and hopefully sharing that our community is resilient and not wavered from continuing our normal lives. Thanks for listening.

No reason for it to make you uncomfortable. It was an awful tragedy, but all you can do now is make the best of it and help others in need. No where near there, but glad to see this brewery trying to help out. Thanks for sharing.
