This morning I went to check on my brew. Left the closet door open in a rush to work and the fermentor was in indirect sunlight all day. It's day 3 into fermentation and the main ferm has finished up on my 1 gal batch. It's a hop heavy beer. Is my beer going to be ok? I heard it can skunk your beer if uv light hits the beer after main fermentation.

I think you are fine. Just drink it real fast. If it does get the skunk, give it to the in-laws. Indirect light for a day is not going to do anything.

Should be fine. I've purposely skunked beers in the sunlight to get that flavor and found it went away after being kegged for 3 weeks. I set it in the sunlight in a carboy for 6 hours.

Great thanks for the advise. The beer has a lot of cirta hops. Wanted a sweeter IPA.
