Hi All. I just got 5 lb of Global Malt Kolsch today from midwest. Planning on doing a Kolsch this weekend. Anyways I have no experience with this grain but it feels really "Soft" When I say that I mean you can take a handfull and chew it up without worrying about breaking a tooth.(Its uncrushed). I guess I was expecting it would be pretty hard like munich or Carapils. It taste good very sweet. It probably just me worrying about nothing. Anyone have experience with this Malt?

Sounds like they may have gotten to much humidity, but I'm not sure it will impact your beer too much - as long as its not moldy smelling.
