So I made my first hard Cider yesterday, Graff of course... However I am thinking about racking it to secondary in 4 or 5 seperate 1gal growlers and doing some experimenting... Has anyone used Apple Pucker to sweeten? Will it ferment out?

Thanks Shane, I am pretty confident as well but I am sure some of it will ferment... Was hoping someone has done it before ??

If it has any sugars in it, it will ferment. If it uses artificial sugars (such as phenylalanine etc. that are commonly found in 'diet' soft drinks) then it will not ferment. Just google the ingredients (I'm at work, probably shouldn't be on here anyway :)).

I'm working under the assumption it's using some sort of artificial sweetener, or at least has preservatives or stabilizers or something of the sort. I did a quick search for ingredients and came up short, actually. (also at work right now and probably shouldn't be on here :) )

My friend used watermelon pucker to flavor a watermelon wheat and it fermented but left the flavor.
