Just bought some Bells third coast old ale. bought the sixer cold. i was wondering if i took one out and put it in the basement after being prechilled, if this would effect it in a negative way.

i really dont know... my real question is can i take it out of fridge and put it in basement .... after being refrigerated

You'll be fine. One temp cycle won't ruin it for you. Think how many temp swings the beer has already been through between packaging and you.

Consistent cool temps are key to long aging though (years, not months). The more the temp swings or higher temps over time the faster the beer will age in your cellar. Think whiskey in the barrel.
