I've seen a short video on here and was interested but there was very little explination of detailed technique.

I think I'll enjoy reading this.

Interesting read, thanks for the article.
I saw a video of a couple of brewers making steinbier, using the traditional techniques, it was very interesting. I can't seem to find the video though.
