Lots of pages there, but I didn't see anything very useful. It's about the water quality from a safety standpoint.

You need to know calcium, sodium, magnesium, chloride, sulfate, bicarbonate.

I didn't see if they use chloramine or chlorine, but that may have been in there.

If you can find out that information, then you'd have a place to start.
 
You have hard water. That Lots is caused by the presence of the following ions calcium, sodium, magnesium, chloride, sulfate, bicarbonate (iron and nickel are ions too). I wouldn't worry about it too much. Get yourself a carbon filter for the chlorine removal and you'll be alright.
