I just transferred my first batch from primary to secondary after seven days. Once the beer settled, I saw some white dots on the top. Could this be an infection??

Nope. Perfectly normal looking beer.

Those are the white spots of love between some left over fermentables and the yeast...continuing their little sexual escapade.

In other words...your beer is still brewing.

Yes, your beer is fine. But it sure does look like mold, doesn't it? Made my heart fall the first time I ever saw it on a beer. That beer turned out to be my best so far. So I consider the little yeast parties on top a good luck sign now ;)
