Here's one for all you engineering types or those that have done more research than me...
How many slotted cross tube should one put in there copper manifold for their MLT?

I am using the igloo cube style cooler and wanted to change to a copper manifold from a braid. The dimensions are 14"x14".

Any suggestions?

I'm an engineer, but I didn't do any engineering when I designed my manifold. I just made a square that fit the bottom of my 10gal round cooler and then fit one pipe across the middle. Simple and works great.

I made a copper manifold and cut as many slots approximately 1/2" apart as I could get in the available area. Not scientific but it works.
