Hey all,

I brewed up my take on a Founders All day IPA, Recipe Below, I deliberately lowered the Alcohol content for a nice easy summer drinker with bags of flavour.

3.5kg of Pale Malt
286 grams of Crystal 30

Mashed for 90 mins at 151
Boiled Wort for 75 mins with the following hop additions.

15g Simcoe 75 mins
15g each of Simcoe and Amarillo for 20 Mins
15g each of Simcoe and Amarillo for 5 mins
16g each of Simcoe and Amarillo Dry hop for 7 days,

24 Litres in fermenter, boiled 30 litres
OG – 1.032
FG – 1.006 - alcohol of about 3.5%

Bottled up today, will give it at least two weeks before i open the first one up.

Guys,

I had to put a post on here to give an update.. the beer is just amazing, so so happy with it, smells and tastes just like an all day IPA, the abv came in right about 3.3%in the end. I had 4 tonight and it feels like I had two beers. Just great mouthfeel and flavour, not watery at all.

I'm def making this again. Picture to follow

3 Weeks in bottle... very quickly running through the batch.

So you did 2 weeks in primary (adding hops for the second week) then straight to bottle for another 3 weeks? or was this 3 weeks grain to glass using bottles?

Interested either way as I love ADIPA, and am down to have a low ABV option.

Hi Chris,

Yes 2 weeks in the fermenter in total, dry hopped for the last 7 days.

Then bottled up for two weeks and i have been making my way through this batch ever since..

I hope you enjoy your batch if you decide to make it
