So, I am attempting to fuze a Kostritzer type schwarzbier and Sam Adam's Noble Pils. Basically, this is Jamil's schwarzbier recipe with Carafa III instead of the roasted barley and Carafa I and then using equal parts Hallertauer, Saaz, Spalt and Tettang to get the IBUs up to ~30.

Any and all feedback is welcome. Especially concerning the yeast. I currently do not have lagering capabilities, but I have heard the California Ale yeast is good for a nice, clean ale. Notty gets a good rap for similar reasons.

Cheers!

So, after watching Brewing TV's latest video about Lager Workarounds, I think I will be fermenting with Wyeast 2124 Bohemian Lager. My basement is right around 62* these days, so I think I will get an even cleaner fermentation than he did in the video.
