I have 5 gallons of german pilsner with primary ferm for 2 weeks then lagered for 8 weeks and ready for bottling.

how much dry yeast do i add to my bottling bucket? Whole packet or fraction there of? if i need to weigh it i have a scale also.

Thanks guys!

you do not need to use yeast, that would be a bad idea. Add a priming sugar, from cane to malt extract, it will awake the yeast from there slumber and give them just enough food to carb up that beer. use online calculators to find the amount of sugar... The Beer Recipator - Home

At 8 weeks of lagering, it might be a good idea to add yeast. My general rule was anything lagering over 6 weeks would get yeast at bottling time. 1/4-1/2 pack per 5 gallons is fine.
