It take me 20 minutes to cool approx 7 gal of wort to 65degrees. My water temp at hose is 52degree. I use the holes to direct the water into the pool. I also throw in some of those freezer packs.

It's been a dry summer. I've been running my IC waste water into buckets and watering the plants around the house. Recycling water is cool.

What is the temp of the pool, would it be 'greener' to just recirc the pool water and not use the hose?
