Hi,

In planning my garden I've determined I have space for 4 rhizomes and am trying to maximize the variety for the styles of beers I enjoy most, namely Bitters, APA's, IPA's and IIPA's. I know for sure 1 will be cascade and 1 will be either fuggles or Golding. So I guess which other hop styles will give me the most bang for the buck and can be used in multiple recipes? I'm assuming at least 1 and maybe both of the others should be a high AA variety. Any suggestions?

Thanks!

Eric

Nugget and Columbus or Chinook. All-nugget Fresh Hop IPAs are fine things.

Fuggles or Willamette are much easier to grow that Goldings.

Cool, thanks for the suggestions. I have never ordered from Midwest before but they have a nice selection of Rhizomes, including the ones you mentioned.
