Just picked up a Rye Pale Ale kit from Northern Brewer, partial mash.

I also purchased 2 oz of Amarillo pellet hops to go with it. Debating on adding both 2 oz to the secondary for dry hopping, or adding some in the last 5-10 min of the boil and the rest during secondary.

Anyone have any experience with this kit? I love heavily grapefruity IIPAs, and also had the Founders Red's Rye PA last weekend and want something similar.

If you want grapefruit, Summit would probably be the #1 hop to try, but Amarillo would probably be in the running as well!

Yea, I've been reading that Amarillo is a little apricot-esqe.

I just wanted to make sure I'm not overdoing it with the hops. I am a major hop head, so I wasn't that worried.
