Hello, I'am new to the home brewing scene but have been involved with brewing for the last year and a half as an investor in a local Micro Brewery Tri-City Brewing Company in Bay City Michigan. So I have been able to adsorb the entire process pretty good and pick the brains of our brewing crew and have acquired what they say will be a great above average starting setup. Being a scientific glassblower by trade helps also! Started my first Yeast starter with White Labs British Ale Yeast Sunday eve which took off strong and plan on brewing a Scottish Ale tomorrow.

Welcome!

There is another glass blower on the forum as well. It seems fascinating.

Also quite cool that you've invested in a local brewery. Good work!

Best of luck on the first batch!

Welcome from the tip of the thumb.

Tri-cities Beer is good. I finally made it to there about a month ago. Two thumbs up.

Good luck with that first batch of beer

Welcome to HBT, there are plenty of Michibrewers here! I'll have to check out Tri-City at the next Brewer's Guild festival I make it to.
