Big fan of music while brewing. Mostly Lynyrd Skynyrd, some classic rock, a little bluegrass, even a little Eminem. Quite eclectic

I may be a geek, but I try to pair style of beer and style of music.

Oktoberfest? My Grandpa's polka albums.
Dry Stout? Irish folk.
West Coast IPA? My old Grunge stuff.

Perhaps I should make the same Australian inspired beer, with tiny variations, for the next 25 years...and listen to AC/DC!

Nope, just wanted to hear who this was so checked them out on Spotify. Sounds like two (or 3) dolphins getting it on.

Whatever works for you though.

Reminds me of those lonely nights at Sea World...

I have a blended setlist of 50s rockabilly, soul and blues and 60-70s jam bands.

Ray Charles, Muddy Waters, B.B. King, Little Richard, Gene Vincent, Eddie Cochran, Buddy Holly, Grateful Dead, Allman Brothers, Otis Redding, Stevie Wonder, Sam Cooke, Etta James, Ella Fitzgerald, Pink Floyd, Bo Diddley

Works for me!

Usually Pandora stations. I have three! The Lumineers, Foster the People, and Bon Iver. Oh and probably my favorite, Dave Matthews Band's Best of What's Around album.

Most of the time the radio is on either classic rock or metal station. I would be a liar if I said I didn't listen to "Hey Porter! Hey Porter!" by Johnny Cash when I brew my porter.

Brewing my first batch this weekend (post mr. beer kit.) Definitely going to the low key dub playlist so I can concentrate. Dubconcious, Half Pint, The Scientist, etc...

AC/DC pre death
The Clash
Mark Knophler
UB40
Anthony B
Pavarotti
Miles Davis
White Snake
DefLeopard
Just Jack
Jamie T

I like to brew early in the morning, and my local college station plays the perfect music for brewing.

On Saturday, early, it's The Gearhead Show, which is rockabillly, surf rock, and really early rock n' roll. That's followed by 3 hours of blues and, if I'm having a long brewday, The Boogie Bang starts at noon. That's 70s funk and early 80s rap.

Sunday, it's Alien Andre first thing in the a.m., which is weird-ass electronic music for the afterbar people who are still up. At 9:00 it switches over to Big Band music, complete with old commercials ("Build your new home! Prices start at $11,000!" and "Fred Flintstone and Barney Rubble choose Winston cigarettes) and the host is a walking encyclopedia of old big band music.

Drive by Truckers, Old Crow Medicine SHow, Elvis Costello, Those Poor Bastards, Hank 1,2&3 classic country, or various pandora stations.

I start my brew about 10 pm so I pretty much have to keep a headset on when I brew. So I just hit random on my mp3 and let it all play. I guess the only music I do not enjoy is the same thing over and over.
