Made a kit beer everthing went well no mistakes . But to me beer is bitter, I figured time would help been sitting about a 1 1/2 months since bottling . hasnt changed . I dont care for it

Generally speaking, hop bitterness subsides over time. On the other hand if it a fermentation fucil or infection taste it could stay for awhile

Don't think its any infection , its been stored in the house at 75 degrees , then I put one in the fridge every few days to check taste . Have a home brew Friend coming over this weekend gonna get his opinion.. Its drinkable but I dont say.boy I want another one of those

Well he checked it out and liked it , Its been sitting 2 more weeks and I can tell its mellowing out some

I was given some IPAs from work (Widmear dropped off a few pallets one day for some reason) and I could not drink it. WAAY too bitter. I let them sit for a year since bottling and they're great now.

Moral: Let it sit for a little while more.
