Hello-- I'm Dave. I stumbled across you guys while looking for answers to many qustions-- and wow--what a pleasant surprise when i found this forum. I just completed making my first batch using a mr beer kit, and even though I made 3 major mistakes, it seems to have come out ok anyway. I'm hooked, and have now purchased the equipment from Austin Homebrew to do it right next time. I'll probably be asking questions in the future as I try to clone my favorite types of beer, ie;
Youngs Double Chockolate
Blue Moon
Fat Tire
Red Hook ESB
numerous other Portes and Bitters
Thanks for the great information I have already gleaned from ya'lls previous posts!!

Not to steal CL-10's thread, but I figured one thread from new members in Central Texas was enough.

I just pitched yeast into a Cream Ale. Never made it before, but it seemed like a nice change from the dark beers I've been making lately. Next up: Nut Brown Ale...maybe some honey in there too....we'll see how I feel at brew time.
