Whirlfloc for a stout? what's the point?

getting ready to brew an Irish dry stout and the recipe kit came with a whirlfloc tablet. should I just save this for a brew that it might actually benefit?
 
I don't like floaties in my beer no matter how dark it is. I prefer to use a little Irish moss/Whirlfloc in most of my recipes (hefeweizens and wits notwithstanding).
