Hello All--New to the forum (2nd post). I've been brewing off and on for ~15 years--pretty much on for the first 7 years of that, and then off for the next 6 (Grad. School) and now back on. I brew mostly from kits; however, I've been experimenting more and more. Hope to add some to the discussions and thanks in advance for any help you all provide.

Get into all grain and then you have full control of the outcome. The taste is fantastic and cheaper once you have the equipment and buy full bags of grain. If you do not want to go that far then a partial mash using grain bags and steeping milled grain in hot water gives a good result.
