I have an extra one of these stainless steel KitchenAid tea kettles.

I was thinking it could be modded somehow for a hop-strainer or randall, etc...Seems like there has to be some brewing application for it; anyone have any DIY ideas for this thing?

Boil some hops in it to make a hop tea that you can then add to past or future brews to see how a specific hop flavour would taste when added to a solid base brew. Just add like a half shots worth to give more flavour.
 
thanks for the suggestions guys. I'm thinking I may try to affix a concave tea strainer into the top opening and then invert it for a wort strainer when running off into a fermenter with the idea that I could pack it with hop cones...
