I ordered some lager yeast from homebrew.com and they sent me Safale S-04... Anyboby ever used this for a lager? I've never used an ale yeast for a lager unless I were fermenting at higher temps. for maybe a Cali. steam beer. Any suggestions for using this package?

Weird considering all of the Saflager yeasts available. I haven't used it for a lager. If you pitch it at 70F and cool the wort slowly, it will ferment ok down to 60F or even 55F. Or just give them a call & I suspect they will ship you a packet of Saflager04 for free.

If you use an ale yeast and ferment it as an ale, then it won't be a lager by any stretch of the imagination.

Your vendor made a mistake and owes you the correct yeast
