Have you tried. Putting a torch to it? Alternately try turning a can of air upside down and freeze the nipple.

use a nipple extractor or an internal pipe wrench both are sold at the big box hardware stores. The downside of them is they scratch up the inside of the nipple but it sounds like the nipple is gonna get ruined in this process anyway.
