Interesting, but it is still a 2 - 3 man operation, and at a cost of $275+, I don't see an advantage over a beer gun. Plus, how easy would it be to convert that setup from 22 Oz bottles to 12 Oz longnecks, or squat bottles like 12 Oz woodchuck cider? :mug:

Still seems to me like poor product deign to have a non-removable poppet in a post. I hope the replacement post that you received has a removable poppet. :mug:

Could also be 5/8 - 18 if it's the liquid side for an older Firestone keg. :mug:

Don't waste your CO2 testing a keg for leaks. Build a pressure check connection like the one below, then use an air compressor or bike pump to fill /pressurize the keg. Link for materials: Build a pressure check filler :mug:

Here's what I do. Set to 12 PSI. Wait 2 - 3 weeks Pour If you need refreshment while waiting the 2 - 3 weeks, and do not have anything you made in bottles or in another keg ( :eek: ), go to the store and buy something you like or can tolerate. :mug:

Found some guidelines from Midwest Supplies. The rubber gasket seals will last for up to 10 uses or more before wearing out. Replace the rubber gasket if: • There are visible cracks • There is mold growth at any time • The gasket has become thin • The gasket has failed...

You should be able to get at least 3 uses out of the gaskets. When my fliptop bottles are empty, I remove the gaskets, boil them, dry them, and then store them in a ziplock bag until I am ready to use them again. :mug:

It won't hurt to go longer on lines either, maybe resulting in a slightly slower pour. Plus, it is easier to cut lines to a shorter length than it is to make a line longer. And the type of line you use is also a factor. If you use vinyl, the chart will be good for you, but if you use something...

For a temp fix, try setting a new gas side gasket on top of the threaded corny post, then carefully thread the gas side post/poppet assembly down finger tight, then gently snug it with a wrench. It will probably work until you have to clean the keg again, and by that time you should have...
