I used splenda I forget the exact ammount. A biy too much.... mibe sucked too for a couple months its about 6 months since I added the splenda. And its much better now. The wife really likes it. Its a bit to sweet for me. IIRC it was 1/4cup
i know we have googled it but to me it makes no sence.... if it is x=kiss than why not say o's and x's

Well I bottled my first batch today after 6months..... it was a bit too dry for me so I backsweetened with. -1/2cup of splenda...
My sample after the splenda and 5oz of corn sugar. Was way too sweet..... I hope once the priming sugar ferments out. Its drinkable.....
I know every one says not to worry about the starsan foam when bottling......
I was bottling today and wondered if it was possible that the foam/leftover star san in the bottle could help fight off any bugs. when bottled......?
Do you think it could help or its too diluted at that point?
they are in my mountian biking back pack for quick fixes..... i have the standard and metric set of individual ones .. im just always to lazy to get them to tighten it up..... id rather have a few beers and post the topioc on 3 differnt forums :D
does it bother any one else that when you buy a folding set of allen wrenches they work great but then become loose and guess what you need tio tighten them an allen wrench..... it should be a damn philips screw.......

Your not supposed to make a starter with dry yeast ... (I have and it worked fine) mr malty.com has a yeast pitching calc....
Just rehydrate. And if biermuncher used one pack I would use one pack
