    Regulator won't go low enough

I tried everything with no luck, so I ordered a new one. My beer is in the keg in the refrigerator. Will it be ok like this for 5 days while I wait for the new regulator to arrive? Thank you.

    Regulator won't go low enough

I did that a bunch of times and it goes back up. When I tapped the display it shot all the way up to 50lbs. Does it sound like my regulator is broken? I took apart the quick connect and cleaned it also. Is there something in the quick release that could cause this? If I understand how it works...

    Regulator won't go low enough

Hello, i just kegged a batch of beer and hooked up the regulator. I turned the knob all the way counter clockwise and lowest setting I can get the C02 to is 30 lbs. I've only used the regulator (The Governor) once before so I don't think that's the issue. Anyone have a recommendation? I'm...

    Poppet leaking

Thank you. I took it apart and put it back together and added a little lube this time. Now it's sealed.

    Poppet leaking

Hello, I took apart all of my keg components and put them back together. While cleaning (shaking the keg full of Oxyclean), one of the poppets is leaking out of the top where it gets depressed. Will this stop once I connect the C02 from the pressure, or do I need to replace the poppet? It's not...

    How do I clean this?

I know this is probably a stupid question, but how do I clean this? It's one of the connections to the keg. Do I disconnect the tube and soak it? Does it come apart? Thanks in advance.

How should I clean my very very dirty keg lines?

Hey everyone. I kegged a batch of beer about 3 years ago. After the keg was empty I never cleaned the lines or anything and they are pretty nasty. Should I buy new lines or can I clean mine? Do I clean the air line too? I only have Oxyclean and Starsan; if I can clean the lines, can I use...

COVID19 + Work From Home = Brewing like a madman.

I "quit" brewing for several years because of many of the things you mentioned. Because of the quarantine I started brewing again and missed it. I will say, not taking it so seriously has helped make it fun again. I stopped obsessing over sanitization, worrying about exact water amounts, how...

    Back at it..

The quarantine got me back into brewing. I brewed for the first time in 4 years yesterday; I brewed an Irish Red ale. I guess I got out of brewing because all-grain, fly sparge, and clean-up takes all dang day. I might look into biab or something.

    How did it all start?

I never liked beer until I tasted Guinness; Guinness made me realize beer doesn't have to taste awful so I started to seek out other delicious beers. I got into home brewing because in 2006, my wife got me a present, a "brew on premise" gift card to a local home brew supply place. Once I...

Leaky keg post - pin lock keg question

I didn't take the post apart when I cleaned and sanitized everthing. I just took the posts off and soaked them in oxyclean / starsan. I didn't understand how to take the poppets out, so I just didn't. I replaced all of the o-rings except for the ones in the posts. It's leaking slightly out of...

Leaky keg post - pin lock keg question

Are there poppets in a pin lock keg post? When I received the keg I changed all of the O-rings and used lube no them. I watched several videos for cleaning kegs and they all address the poppets on a ball-lock keg. I cannot find any information online about the posts for pin-lock kegs...

    Yeast cake without washing life?

I mixed some water with it and shook it to prepare it to separate... but I got busy and I know I wont have a chance to finish it up until Saturday. So, right now it is the yeast cake and some brownish water on top, am I still cool? Thanks.

    Yeast cake without washing life?

I kegged a batch last Saturday and didn't have time to wash the yeast. I dumped the whole cake into a gallon water jug and it's been sitting in my refrigerator since. I plan on washing it this weekend. Is there a problem with this? Thank you. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I747 using Home Brew...

Pin lock connectors, is there a difference?

Ha, thanks. When I clean mine with a sponge, no matter how many times I wipe it... The sponge keeps getting dirty. After about 15 minutes I gave up. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I747 using Home Brew mobile app
