Hello, I took apart all of my keg components and put them back together. While cleaning (shaking the keg full of Oxyclean), one of the poppets is leaking out of the top where it gets depressed. Will this stop once I connect the C02 from the pressure, or do I need to replace the poppet? It's not very old, but it was left dirty for a couple years.

Thank you!

It may seal, but from experience I definitely would not trust a leaky poppet to not leak without user intervention.
At the least I'd pull the poppet, give the sealing end a critical eye, if it isn't dinged or cracked put some keg lube on it, put the post back on the keg and see what happens...

Cheers!

Check w your lhbs. I had the same issue and took it there and they carried at least 2 types. I believe one was for the Corny co and one was for other brands.
they matched it up and the leak stopped.
