    Opinion about iodine

    A friend of mine uses iodine for sterilization. I do as well, but he does not rinse equipment off with water before he uses the equipment. I always rinse mine, but tasting his beer I don't taste any off flavors and his beer is great. What do you guys do for sterilization?:)

    sight-glass

    Ok, So I just got the keggle from a friend, and I am cleaning getting ready for the first brew. The sight-glass has hop particles from a previous brew. How do I clean it out? My bottle brush is too big, and I am not sure what to use. Any suggestions? Thanks.:tank:

    When to add the Nutrients?

    Ok, the more I read, the more I get confuzzled....Some people say at add the yeast nutrients in the primary, some say after you transfer to the secondary. Some say right away, some say after the initial fermentation.... Can anyone give me the straight scoop?
